Most likely you have a pulley that is not turning (locked up).
It may be your A/C compressor (or it is clutch pulley) locked up. If you turn off the heat and A/C does the belt turn freely? If so, your A/C compressor is locked up. But the A/C clutch is fine.
If above is the case, unplugging the A/C clutch connector may keep you driving around, without the A/C engaging accidentally, until you can get it repaired.
Should this not be the issue, remove the belt and try to turn all of the pulleys by hand, until you find the locked up one.
