The driver's side door and passenger door locks are broken. I have not used my fob in a long time. I pulled up and did not put the car in gear. I turned the car off, which triggered the alarm. It's happened before but never this long, or the alarm does not go off! I know in order to reboot or redo you use fob or use key to car door. Mine is out of commission. How do I stop the alarm from ringing and let me start my car? Please help!

You must reset the system, which is done by disconnecting the battery and letting the car sit overnight. This will allow the alarm system to fully reset. this guide can help you as well:

Ken L,

Thank you for your response. But that did not work. I thought I had tried everything. So, I'm giving up and I'm sitting in my car, I just started pressing the lock button on passenger side and turning key in. I was doing this about 57 times, and it turned off. I then turned my car on and made it home! Thanks again much appreciated. Dorie S

Okay, you may have a module that is going out. To be sure we should do a CAN scan. this guide and video will show you how:
