No power nothing would not even let fob out of switch?

Wife went to unlock van with fob. Wouldn't unlock, used key got in tried to start with fob. Van locked up. No power nothing wouldn't even let fob out of switch. I disconnected the battery and removed fuses 19 and 21 let it set 12 hours, put the fuses back in then reconnected battery, it let fob out, I replaced fob battery thinking that might have caused issue. Tried to restart van and locked up again. What am I doing wrong or do I need to do to get my van to work? Or is it a piece of scrap metal now?

Is the security light flashing? Also, how old is the batter? When the voltage gets low strange things like this happen. If the battery is new, I would remove the negative battery cable overnight to help reset the system. This guide may help as well:
