Top of our page is "repair guides".

This may aid you now and for future issues.

I went ahead and scrolled through them and found the section that might help.

Click on my link below:

Let us know how it goes.

Do you mean it is on and none of the keys you have turn it off? Which engine and transmission? Other than the reset what have you tried? Are you sure you have the correct keys? The problem with the newer units is that you need an OEM level scan tool to talk to the other network so you can pull the security system fault codes. Without that you could replace the security module and still get nowhere.

Let me jump in here look inside the key hole of the ignition cylinder for a shinning spot where the the key reads. Also, see if the wire to the ignition cylinder is broken? Let me know what you find.

This is a pass-key system. If the light is staying on solid, it is likely a hard failure in the system that will have to be repaired. This is a pretty basic system that has its own security module that cannot be bypassed. You can bypass the key sensor if you wish but you would still need an operational module for the car to run. If you want to bypass the sensor, just measure the resistance of the pellet and by a resister of the same value and solder it between the two small white wires going to the sensor.

You will likely end up needing to replace the module. You cannot put a used module in it as they are programmed to the previous car. A new module is sold in "learn mode" so it will learn the key value in the first start attempt.
