The seat adjustment button is broken and stuck in one position and is running so it is draining my battery. I want to know how to put it back into place so it will work again so it will not continue to run and drain my battery.

2007 Audi what? Please fill in the model and engine. From the description the switch needs to be replaced but without knowing what model there is not a way to look up the part to see if there is a different option.

Okay so an A4 droptop. Looking at the way the switch is made you will need a new switch.
You remove the seat then the trim panel. Then the electrical connector and the switch. Reverse that to replace it.
To stop it from running the battery down you could pull the circuit breaker for the power seats until you get it repaired.
