Clear the code and take the car for a ride. After around 8 MPH guess (speedometer not working) the ABS goes on and brake light is on also with message fixed braking system. Also, at the same time the transmission drops to limp mode, like I am in second gear.

Replaced transmission VSS and same results.

Checked voltage and resistance, of each front left and right wheel sensor both with in spec.

Shift fine, no other issues I am aware of.

Is there a way to verify the VSS (transmission} is good? Suspect possible EBCM or PCM controllers. Not sure what it could be.

Note: Replaced PCM 2 years ago had numerous code errors. Fixed the problem.

Please advise.

The ABS module sounds like it is going out because the ABS system gives vehicle speed information to the PCM and CAN. To be sure let's do a CAN scan which is the future of automotive repair you can get a CAN scanner from Amazon for about $30.00 here is a video to show you how and a link to a scanner from Amazon. I have included how to change out the ABS module in the diagrams below.

and

This guide can help as well:

Check out the diagrams (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.

I want to apologize for my ignorance about the CAN scanner. After researching I now understand why you want me to purchase Amazon scanner which has the technology of the CAN which scan the communications of the controllers. So will purchase the Amazon scanner before I replace anything. Thanks again.
