2006 Saturn Vue

Key won't go into the ignition switch. Steering wheel won't lock, transmission lever won't depress to try and move thru gears. Something w/security system? I'll check the ignition fuse tomorrow but what the? Spun wheel both ways trying to hear that "lock" click but nothing. Any suggestions?

If you have a resistance key, there is a resistor pellet on the key. It is a small resistance the computer reconignize as the one who should go with the vehicle.
The resistance might be incorrect, and computer disable many systems, included engine not crancking.
Take the key to the dealer and have him check the resistance values.
If you do not have the key in question, let me know what you got.
