1998 Saturn SL2 Smole into the car

One day while driving on the highway, my car started slowing down and smoke started coming into the car. Then as I came to a stop at the exit ramp it just completly went out. Now as it sits in my driveway I can start it and it shakes and smokes comes into the car and it can go forward and backwards, but I don't dare take it on the road until it is fixed. If anyone can tell me what the problem seems to be and how much this will cost inorder to fix, that would be great, thank you.

Is the smoke coming in the car coming from outside or is it just inside?Does it smell like exhaust or wire's burning?

The smoke is coming in through like the vents if that helps, and it smells like the exhaust.

Make sure you check all the fluid level's is the car any louder then it was before the smoke thing happened?If it's exhaust coming in then it sound's like you have a exhaust leak. After you check all the fluid level's start it up and see if you can see or hear any exhaust escaping under the hood.
