1995 Saturn SL2 hydralic clutch

Replaced clutch with kit and now hydralic not working, so I bought a new sealed system and install now slave cylinder works but I only get 3/8 traval and I need a1/2, took clutch kit back out and replaced the hole kit with another clutch, pressure plate and throw-out bearing and still do not engage but 3/8. What is going on. I dont have a bent clutch plate.

Have you Checked the Cable linkage leading to and from the clutch pedal to see if its adjusted properly. Also check to see if its binding up on the firewall were the cable passes through. Hope this helps
