Transmission problem
1994 Saturn SL2 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

rpm revs to about 4 grand. Tach go crazy then shuts off, then the cars shuts off. When I start it back up it runs fine. Does this about once a day.

I am no technician on the subject and the part is kinda pricey but take it to a free auto store that will read your OBD codes and if MAP sensor comes up then I would replace it you can do it yourself it is just a few screws right on the left upper side of the engine and it just snaps into place. It fixed my problem with the exact same thing. Hope this helps.
