1997 Saturn SL1 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual

My car didnt turn over this morning and, it has battery power and gas in it, I didnt go through a puddle yesterday. Its trying to turn over, but it want quite click to turn. What could be the problem?

When u say it wont quite turn over what does it do does it click or what more details please.

Its trying to turn over, but its not kicking in, almost like if it was overflooded it has the power, battery fine, almost like its not getting enough gas in the fuel lines.

So is it cranking over slower then normal if it is then it's probably flooded try holding ur foot down to the floor while cranking. If it cranks over normal or a little fast it could have no fuel pressure or a bad crank sensor let me know what it's doing so we can figure out ur problem.

Ok, so its still trying to turn over, but not hitting, almost like its not getting a connect.

Pull off two plug wires next to each other on the coil pack and watch to see if there is a spark jumping while someone is cranking it that let's start there.
