Engine Performance problem
1996 Saturn SL1 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

does this car have a cam sensor. Error code seems to indicate out of range but I am told it does not have a cam sensor

Error code seems to indicate out of range but I am told it does not have a cam sensor[/quote:be9bf6f44c]when u get a cam signal code it's usually caused by corroded coil towers if there corroded they will have to be cleaned or ur coils will have to be replaced also the wires if there corroded they will have to be replaced.if u look at the other end of the wires u look for black stuff that's carbon if it's there u need new wires as well.if there's black stuff on the plugs or carbon tracking burned in channels in the plugs u need new plugs.let me know what u find.there is no cam sensor.
