Yes u have sunroof drains let's see if there clogged before we clean them. First open the sunroof all the way then get one of those big plastic cups that bend real easy fill it up with water. Then squeese it to form a nozzle then slowly pour it Into each front corner and watch how it drains. Let me know what u find.

Sorry, cant open the sun roof. I noticed in an automatic car wash that water was running in but couldnt feel it when putting my hand up there. After a short time water started leaking around headliner moulding, and it wasnt as much water as I seen running in, so Im guessing partially clogged drains. Thanks Louie The water was leaking in the front of sunroof and leaked a bit out the plastic moulding running along side of windshield. Guess I should stay out of car washes! LOL

Well even though u can't open the sunroof to see if they are clogged the most common reason for ur sunroof to leak in ur model car is the drains the front ones. So Iam going to give u my secret to make those front drains drain twice as fast as they did new. Okay when u open ur front door up look down u will see the plastic sill plate molding that runs across where u step in it runs all the way up to the dash get a good size flat screwdriver and find the retaining clips and pop them out with the screw driver under where they. And pop all the clips up and remove the molding becareful the clips get brittle when they get old then remove the molding. Ok now look where the molding was by the dash facing the front fender of the car u will see a square plastic like filler plug pull it out under it there is a hole where the drain lines go thru to have water exit the car. There is a hose fitted into a duck bill valve that fits into the body of the car. Remove the valve and the hose then take the valve off the hose get a sharp razor blade and shave that duck bill valve off so there is only a hole remaining put everything back together and do the other side only differance between the two sides is one side has wires in that square filler plug but it comes out the same way. Let me now how it goes u will probably find ur problem betime ur finshed.

Thanks Louie, but being Im working under the old shade tree and live in Pa, I think Ill wait till warm weather to try your idea. Already looked over the things to be done and Im sure I can do the job in warmer temps. Thanks again and my oil usage has dropped greatly using your suggestions. Thinking about trading for 2002 ZX5 Focus with 77000 miles on it. Know anything good or bad about them to pass along before I buy?
