97 saturn sc, starting issue. I have no voltage at the "purple wire on the solinoid whitch appears to be the starting circuit. I have voltage at the clutch switch when the key is turned to start so from what I see in the chiltons manual I have that means it is getting from the ignition switch through the relay and to the clutch switch but not from there to the starter soliniod. Correct? Where di I go from here?

Thank you fro your help. I had the starter checked and it checks out fine, I re-installed and there is not enough current to engage the engine, I determinated the wire going from the starter posative post to the alternator / generator and all of a sudden there is plenty of current to engage the engine and turn it over, does this mean that my aternatot is bad? Also the print you sent me shows a fusable link I do not see that. The wire I dissconnected goes right from the possitive post on the starter to the back of the alternator?
