Battery Cable chewed up by mouse.

I have 97 SC 1 SOHC, positve battery cable chewed up, along with two smaller wires nearby that are connect to what looks like a sensor on the a/c lines. What can I repair or replace myself and what should a qualified mechanic do?

as long as you can tell witch is witch,you could do it yourself,just disconect the battery first and make sure you use the good conections when you do it.
