I noticed a lot of people were having this problem, tried calling Saturn (jerks) after 5 months I FOUND OUT WHY. The ECT (engine Cooling Temp Sensor) was bad it registers the out of engine temp to be -36 below when it is actually 52 above so the car is overheating, The sensor is the bottom sensor (there is two senors at this place and they look like a small metal tube about the size of a spark plug) on the right hand side right above the oil check area. New sensor about $20-to 30 replace time 15 minutes- make sure you have new one ready because once you take it out antifreeze will fly out. The sensors cost about $300-500 to be replaced at a shop, why? Hopefully this will help someone else & save you money also.
