My 2000 L series has a high beam control on the turn indicator switch on the steering column. When turning on the indicator the high beams come on and stay on. After making the turn your high beams are on. You can hold the lever in and they will sometimes go off. But pulling the switch to turn off will not turn off high beams and in day lite I am driving with high beams on. However some times you can't turn off the lights when you turn off the car. You can try to wedge something in to hold the lever in place but it falls out and lites come on. Thus last night it drained the battery. Saturn dealer now out of business. Faulty switch? Loose switch, other problem?
