My daughter decided to drive my wife's Saturn thru a large body of water, thinking she could make it but guess what she didn't. After we towed the car home I let it dry out overnight outside with the hood raised. I thought it was the starter since it just clicked, so I took it to my local auto parts store sure enough it failed the test. Put the new one on and it didn't work either(just heard the Bendix pop out but it didn't spin). Took my battery and had it checked it was fine also. Next I think I need to check the fuses can you help me? Any answer to my? Would be greatly appreciated

Hello,

It can be quite challenging figuring out specific issues with a car that was 'flooded'.
But we have step by step guides to help you thru the process.

Here are couple of helpful articles on how to check fuses for issues:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-a-car-fuse-works

You will also have to trace the wirings for any short. You will need a test light and a multimeter to effectively pinpoint issues.
You might find this article helpful on how to check wirings:

You could also have faulty relays. You will need to test the relays to make sure they are functional.

I have attached all of the fuses diagrams as well as wiring for your starting and charging systems. This should help you narrow down the issue.

Please let me know of any questions.

Thank you.
