cooling light comes on when I start the car. It stays on. checked the fluid. filled to the cold line.

theres two lights on there one for winshield washer fluid and the coolant one.if its the coolant one unplug the plug and jump the terminals and give it a few mins and see if the light clears if it does and you have a good connection at the bottle then you need a new sensor if it doesnt shut off then you have a circuit problem.also when you jump the plug make sure you cycle the key from run to off to run again start it and see if the light goes out after a few mins with it running.let me know how it goes.
