2006 Saturn Ion POPPING IN STEERING

So when u turn the steering wheel to the left or right or left u hear a loud pop if so it's usually the front sway bar bushing pretty common on those cars. So u might want to start by checking those there the bushing that go into the clamps to hold down the front sway bar to the frame. Let me know what u find.
