Hi, I don't know if I need to tighten something, need a wiper transmission or what? The wipers come on but the driver's side tries to fly off the car. Can anyone tell me what I need or what to do.

You need a new wiper transmission, it happened on my car too after a bad snow storm, its a little plastic piece that breaks. It's going to cost about $130 for the part.

U ethier have a broken transmission on ur wipers or ur wiper arm slip out of adjustment on the shaft that happens too. Does the blade go past the whindshield and then not come all the way back to park postion close to the cowl at the bottom of te windshield?
