Hi,
The most common cause of white smoke is coolant being burned in the combustion chamber. Do me a favor. Take a look through this link. It explains how to check for a bad head gasket. I have a feeling if you are seeing that much white smoke, it isn't due to a rich fuel mixture. Most times, a rich fuel mixture will cause black or dark gray smoke from the exhaust.

If we determine it is a head gasket, here are the directions for replacement. The pictures below show both the directions and pics for doing the job. Pics 1-3 show the removal and replacement of the cylinder head. You will also need to remove and replace the timing belt to remove the head. The remaining pics correlate with timing belt replacement. This is a good time to replace the belt and its components.
