My daytime running lights work fine at night but not in the day. They come on in my dark garage, but turn off once I get outside. They automatically come on at night but not in the day. I suspect a photocell issue. Headlights otherwise work fine.

It may be the photocell or the module is not doing its job. You can check the sunload sensor by holding your hand over it. It is on the left hand side of dash. If lights work then that may be the problem. Otherwise get it scanned by a mechanic.

That is what I did and the lights came on. The sensor used to blink red but it does not do so now.

This could be a sensor or module problem. I would try the sensor first and then move onto the module.

Please let us know what happens so it will help others

Best, Ken
