Rough idle and smoke

The white smoke sounds like steam. Have you checked for a coolant leak?

Now, if all cylinders are misfiring, it sounds like you may have a head gasket issue or the intake manifold is leaking. Here is a link that describes how to check for a bad head gasket. Follow the directions and let me know what you find. Also, if possible, could you provide the trouble codes from the computer? If all cylinders are misfiring, the check engine light should be on. Thus, there will be trouble codes.
