Roof will not open

The roof on my vehicle (hardtop) won't open after bypassing all the switches it still didn't open and the dash isn't beeping to say there's a problem?

Unfortunately we don't have a service manual for the vehicle however, this top operates basically the same as other convertibles. Even if you bypass all the switches it will not open the top because they need to see the switches tripped in order so that they know each process has been completed before the next step starts. If not, then all of them try to operate at the same time which just binds the top. More than likely the control module is just disabling the top.

We need to reconnect all the switches and then try to operate it while monitoring it with a scan tool to see which switches are operating and not or what may be preventing the roof from moving.
