Hi,
If you are smelling fuel, make sure there are no leaks under the hood. If there is nothing leaking, then we need to check the fuel pressure and regulator. If the regulator is failing, too much pressure can cause what you described.

If you look at the pic below, it provides the manufacturer's fuel pressure specifications.

See pics below. Note: In pic 2, I circled the regulator and highlighted where a vacuum hose should be. Disconnect the hose and make sure there is no fuel in it. Also, make sure that the hose isn't damaged or leaking vacuum.
