I hear a minor scraping at the right front wheel?

I hear a minor scraping at the right front wheel. I assumed brake pads need replacing, so I did that. Even with new pads, I get a grinding noise when I apply brake pedal at lower speeds. It doesn't seem to be a bearing problem, because it's when I apply brakes. I shook the wheel with it in the air, and no excess play.

Can you check please recheck the front and rear pads. Sometimes the noise can seem like it is coming from the front, but the problem can be in the rear. This is a classic brake pads noise. If the pads are okay, it must be the bearing hub, they can go bad even though they don't have play. How does the wheel sound when you just spin it? Here is how to change the bearing hub out in case you need it. Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response of any problems so we can see what to help you with.
