Good afternoon, can you tell me where the Ride Height Sensor is located? Do you know the purpose of this type of sensor?

Hi Austino,

The ride height sensors are in the air shock assemblies. The purpose of these is the determine the ride height and if one corner or multiple are low so the compressor can send more air to lift that corner of the vehicle back up. Do you have a low height warning or DTC?

Unfortunately these are pretty common on older vehicles like this. Usually, you will see this corner of the car is sitting lower. If it is, then the most likely fix is to replace that air shock.

Let me know if you have any DTCs or what the specific issue is and we can go from there. Thanks

Then you shouldn’t have ride height sensors. Is there a reason you were asking about them? Do you have codes for them?
