Replacing steering intermediate shaft?

I centered the steering but forgot to place a seat belt around it to hold it in place. I see marks from old one and where it lines up with rack side, but top one hard to see, went to install new one but i may have moved the steering a bit, ugh. What is the easiest way to make sure the steering and bottom joint match before installing it so steering wont be off center. I just had it aligned before that after installing new tires

So, this is electric power steering, I would make sure the front wheels are straight and then make sure the steering wheel is centered and then it should go together on the spline correctly. Do not spin the steering wheel because you will break the spiral wire (clock spring) Here is how to install the steering column and intermediate shaft. Check out the images (below).
