Replaced solenoid pack and car won't move

I have a 2003 Jeep Liberty 3.7 with a 42rle transmission. After getting code p1776 and going into limp mode I replaced my solenoid pack. After I had everything put back together I had trouble starting the jeep. I had to move the gear shifter up and down while turning the key. After it was started and in drive I couldn't move and the engine revs. I didn't have these symptoms before replacing the solenoid pack so I'm guessing I did something wrong. Any ideas? Thank you!
