Hello, recently I replaced the ignition switch, ignition barrel and have a new key as well. I took the key chip out of the old key and placed it in the new key. When I try to start it it does nothing. Everything else seems to come on when I turn the key but nothing as far as the engine no sound what so ever. Please help

You have to have a mechanic reprogram the switch/key to the car as anti theft is engaged is the reason car will not start.

Any mechanic at a garage with a pro scanner can do it. When you replace the switch the transponder in that key is the one that should be used not the old one. If it still will not start it still need reprogramming.
