I replaced my alternator because it caused a problem and caused my car to not be able to function properly, but once I replaced it the car will not even start. I do not believe it is the battery because the voltage was already tested and all the cables and wires look to be in place and still secure. I do not know why my car will not start, it just makes clicking sounds.

Well the clicking means you have one of two issues, The battery itself is bad, voltage is not an accurate way to test a battery, you need to do an actual load test to determine how many amperes it can deliver under a heavy draw. The other possibility is a bad connection either corroded or loose. To find that you would need to remove, clean and reattach the cable connections at each end.
