2003 Renault Scenic car will not start

2003 Renault Scenic

when i put my key card into start the car ,the car wont start and theres a message coming up saying steering unlocked consult handbook .also the steering wont lock at all .

the steering lock is electronically controlled by the BCM(body control module) .. this is preventing the car from starting because there is a fault on the system somewhere ..the handbook will explain how to reset .. you may have to take the car to a renault dealer to have the module read by diagnostic computer to locate the actual fault !!
