Hi, the metal on the ecu harnesses broke while trying to disconnect the ECU harness from the computer. It's really old. Will that effect securing the harness on tight if I am able to loosen the harness? Should I just remove all the connectors to that harness? I had to replace someone's harnesses recently on a 2021 Dodge Charger because he broke the connectors that connect to the computer. I'm not sure of all of the wording when you gave me instructions on replacing the vehicle listed above engine, but can you tell me or give exact pictures for which harnesses need to be disconnected? I'm dropping this engine from the bottom.

I think it's fine. I was able to get the harness out. I hope it will go back tight.

You might be able to get the metal clip from a wrecking yard. The engine harness will need to be replaced if you cannot find the clip and the connector does not stay but it looks like you can lock it manually.
