Here are the directions for removal and replacement of the ignition lock cylinder. The attached pictures correlate with the directions,

IGNITION LOCK CYLINDER - REMOVAL
1. Disable the SIR system. (Refer to Disabling the SIR System in Diagrams/Diagnostic Aids/General Troubleshooting Procedures/The SIR System.) See: Vehicle > Diagnostic Aids

2. Remove two screws holding Data Link Connector (DLC) to filler panels.
3. Remove the five steering column filler panel screws.

4. Remove hood release cable from lever by releasing cable housing, then rotating cable downward to cutout.
5. Remove steering column filler panel.

6. Remove two upper-to-lower steering column shroud screws and three lower steering column shroud-to-steering column screws.
7. Remove upper steering column shroud.
8. Insert ignition key into ignition lock cylinder and rotate ignition key to ACC position.

9. Depress the square locking button on the top of the ignition lock cylinder module and slide ignition lock cylinder assembly from ignition lock cylinder.

Ignition Lock Cylinder - Installation
Vehicle Steering and Suspension Steering Steering Column Service and Repair Removal and Replacement Ignition Lock Cylinder - Installation
IGNITION LOCK CYLINDER - INSTALLATION
1. Position new ignition and start switch (P/N 21024682) to ignition module assembly and install two screws and tighten.
Torque: 2 - 3 Nm (18 - 27 in. Lbs.)
2. Connect electrical connector to ignition and start switch.

3. Position upper and lower steering column shrouds to steering column and install two upper-to-lower steering column shroud screws and three lower steering column shroud-to-steering column screws.
4. Install ignition lock cylinder into ignition module.

5. Route hood release cable through I/P, then install hood release cable to lever.

6. Install steering column filler panel and Data Link Connector (DLC).
7. Install and torque five screws.
Torque: 2.2 Nm (20 in. Lbs.)
8. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position and remove key.
9. Enable the SIR system. (Refer to Enabling the SIR System in Diagrams/Diagnostic Aids/General Troubleshooting Procedures/The SIR System.) See: Vehicle > Diagnostic Aids
