Red cable near bonnet latch

My bonnet latch would not work so I was told to pull the cable attached if I needed to open it. Unfortunately I did not know they meant the wire cable and ended up pulling a red wire loose. I am now worried to drive it until I know what the cable is just in case it is bad.
