Hi. I'm having a really hard time finding a two sided bolt that goes to the rear slider glass of my truck. I snapped one when I was replacing the dried out ribbon seal causing a water leak. It has threads on both ends.

Hi,

I have to ask, is this an OEM window? Also, where was that bolt located? Like you, I can't seem to find anything like it. Do you see its location in the pic I attached?

Joe

Yes, it is an OEM. And the bolts screw into the inside of the sliding window frame and go through the 12 holes in the pinch weld of the body, and then a nut goes on them. The lines on the picture that come from holes go to right where these two sided (double threaded) studs (bolts) did you see my pictures?

If I am correct that is one of the bolts that the large ends attaches to the window frame and then the smaller end sticks through the body holes and you have nuts that secure the window and frame to the vehicle? Looks like there is 12 of them around the window. Take a look at the picture where I circled them. Is this correct?

If so, you are having an issue finding them because they come on the new window and are not removable. They can be taken out but are not designed to so they don't offer them separate. I have looked for them as well and are not seeing them.

I think your best bet is going to try and find a frame that has the window busted out and get them off that frame. Salvage yards may have these trucks there that you can get one out of it before they crush the truck.

Unfortunately I am not seeing any other place that is offering them either. Hopefully this helps.
