When pulling off there is a slight rumble seven or eight clicking sounds. Mot due next week so I am wondering if this is going to be expensive. I am no mechanic but I am thinking different maybe or drive shaft. Do not even know if it is front or rear wheel drive. This is my first inquiry so do not think I am thick, I am just putting feelers out.

Hi David and thanks for using 2CarPros.com.

To begin, this vehicle is not offered in the US, so my manuals do not cover it. However, it is front wheel drive. With that in mind, I would recommend you check a couple items. First, confirm that the front tires are not cupped. Excessive cupping can cause a rumble on acceleration. Additionally, a bad or faulty CV joint can also make a clicking noise and you can sometimes feel it. The attached link discusses the symptoms of a bad CV joint. These symptoms are universal with a bad joint, to it is relevant to your vehicle. Take a look through it and see if is what you experience. It also discusses how to check one.

Based on your description, it sounds like one of the joints may be failing. Check this link and let me know if you have other questions or need help with anything.

Take care,

Joe
