The radio started staying on for about ten minutes after turning off the car?

Today my radio started staying on for about 10 minutes after cutting the car off, exiting it, and opening and closing the door. Before today it would automatically cut off once the door is opened. Could someone tell me what the problem is and how to correct the problem?

Yes, the BCM is responsible for the operation of the radio, but to be sure the BCM is bad we should do a CAN scan. You can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) which will work on most cars from Amazon.

Here is the location of the BCM and how to replace it in the images below. You can get a preprogrammed unit by searching Google or Ebay. Check out the images (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
