My factory radio hasn't worked for a while. It would at first turn off occasionally and now completely quit working. I figured since I don't have one anymore and none can seem to find the problem, I'd attempt to install an aftermarket because well it can't get much worse. I can't find the correct schematics or any diagram for my 2012 LT though. Anything to get me started would be greatly appreciated.

When you say the radio doesn't work at all, I assume the screen doesn't come on or there is no audio?

If this is the case, then we need to review power and grounds going to the radio. I attached the wiring diagrams below for this.

Here is a guide that will help with this testing:

Basically, if there is a power supply issue or a ground issue then even if you put an aftermarket radio in it, it will not work.

So, let's start with running through this info with the diagram and see if you have power and a good ground. If you do, then I would start looking for a replacement radio.

Let me know if you have questions on this.

Thanks
