Just replaced the suspension and steering components. Still had a bit of a vibration. So I replaced both calipers, rotors, bearings, pads, drums, wheel cylinders, shoes and drum hardware (springs, adjusters) and bled/flushed the system. Fluid is nice and clear. Now I have more pedal travel than I should and after hitting about thirty five to forty mph, I get the yellow RABS light. If I stay under thirty mph, no light. I can stop and do not get wheel lockups, but the two symptoms only showed up after the brake job.

The low pedal sound like you need to adjust the shoes toward the drum a little more. As far as the ABS light there is a sensor in the rear differential housing or two sensors out by the wheels that sound like go damaged or unhooked.

Can you get under the truck and check it Im interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken

Sensor is plugged in. Doesn't appear to be damaged. No issues with shifting or speedo as I've heard is common with the sensors. Would the brakes out of adjustment cause the light? Was getting a bit of lockup last night driving in heavy rain. Pulled fuse for ABS and still got the light, but the lockup seemed to go away.

The ABS shouldn't make the brake lock up. Do you have ABS sensors on the front wheels? If so the new rotors have the reluctors on them?

No, just the single sensor on the rear axle. Going to try changing the sensor and see what happens. Just so odd it would suddenly malfunction after a brake job. Also that the light only comes on after 35mph or so.
