My truck listed above 1500 Bighorn has 20 inch wheels currently on it, stock. I was looking to do a 6 inch lift on it and purchase custom 20X10 -18 offset wheels with making minimum trimming. My question is, would I be able to purchase custom 20X11 -18 offset wheels and still just have the minimum trimming to do to make them fit or would it be much more extensive? Thank you for all your help!

Maybe I am not understanding. When you say you are going to have to do trimming, I assume you mean of the wheel well to make the tire fit? If so, what size tire are you putting on this?

Also, keep in mind you must reprogram the body controller as well when you are lifting and changing tire size or the vehicle will not operate properly. I have seen not only odometer and speedometer issues but shifting as well.

Let us know what size tire you are thinking about putting on these wheels and we can go from there. Thanks

Haven't quite made the decision on the tire size. But yes I was referring to trimming the wheel well area for proper fit. I have currently purchased bushwacker fender flares and will be having those installed by the dealership. I was trying to put have these things slowly without incurring aarge cost at one time. All items including the 6in leveling lyft kit will be professionally installed by a very reliable & qualified mechanic. As for tires I was looking at Nitto Grappler G2 tires. My main concern at first was the wheel size, if I should just stay with the idea of 20X10 -18 offsets or if I could go with 20X11 -18 offsets. Wanting to not have any major trimming to the wheel well area.

Depending on the size of the tire, I doubt you will have to trim much at all. These trucks can handle 35 inch tires with no issues. So with a Big Horn package, you should have 275/60R20 wheels.

That converts to 33 inch tall tires and 10.8 inch wide. So going with the 11 inch wide wheels is not going to make much of a difference. So that brings us back to the size of the tire to determine if you need to decrease your offset.

What I would do is decide on the tires that you want first and then find the wheels to fit them. The fact that you are lifting the vehicle as well, really opens your options up. I doubt you will have any issues with what you are talking about.
