You can do what I normally would do by going to a site like the Rock Auto web site. Look up your car, engine, and year, then the tensioner under "Engine". You will see listings from many different suppliers. Write down their part numbers, then look up the same part for other models and years. If you find the same number, that car uses the same part.
That works best if you have a donor car available to take used parts from already. If you are going to a salvage yard with many cars to pick from, ask someone there to use their "Hollander" guide to give you a list of cars. That is a huge, and very expensive book that will list your car model and year, and each part is given a code number. You look up that number in the back of the book and it will list every car that used that part.
