My van has been in the shop for the third time thinking that things were fixed as soon as I pick up the van a week later my check engine light. Light comes on mechanic states there could be a computer issue not giving correct codes and I would have to take it to the dealer. This is my last resort I hope and pray the dealer can resolve because in the past they were useless to fixing a problem with another car I had.

Chanced of the computer not giving the correct codes is remote. Lets start by checking the codes ourselves. Here is a guide to help us get started. You can get a code reader from Amazon for $20.00 BTW.

Please run down this guide and report back.
