I would like to replace the factory power steering rack and pinion assembly on my car it the GT model, but I cannot seem to find any instructional videos for removal and installation on YouTube or Google for my specific car. Can you help?

Hello,

You will need to jack up the car first.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/jack-up-and-lift-your-car-safely

and it looks like you may need to raise the engine up a little to get the rack out.

Here is a guide on how to remove the tie rods from the spindles.

Before you start I would flush the system first to make sure new fluid is in the pump before installing the new rack.

If you need to raise the engine you can get a engine support from the auto parts store they will rent it to you for free.

Here are some diagrams (below) to show you how to get the job done.

Please let us know what happens.

Best, Ken
