Thank you for the assistance and the laughs, I was contemplating driving the car off a hill haha. I was able to get the steering rack out. I dropped the frame down a little more, compressed the right inner tie rod, disconnected the shifter cable, and was able to remove the steering rack from under the car.
I'm going to install the new steering rack this week and try not to compress the inner tie rods. The original reason for changing it was because of the increased noise and a few leaks. The power steering reservoir needed to be filled every month. The rack had a leak near the driver's side. I also noticed that my whole engine oil pan was covered in oil as well as the right side of the engine. It's definitely from the rack pinion system. All of the other fluids are full. I see some oil by the Power Steering Pressure Sensor. Is this hose prone to failure? I rebuilt the power steering pump about a year ago, new seals, washers, and gaskets. I don't see any oil leaking from there.
I cleaned the reservoir and replaced the two hoses leading to it. No visible cracks on the reservoir and no oil under it.
When the car is parked all of the leaks are on the right side of the car.
