So this just happened today. My Chevy Astro Van's door locks have stopped working it. When I press the power door locks to lock or unlock, no sound is made like nothing is going on from either the driver or passenger side of the van. The doors will not lock with the key fob at all. I can unlock the doors manually but the back hatch, even when unlocked, will not open. Here is the kicker, randomly you can hear the sounds of what you should be hearing when pressing the power door lock as the van sits with no key in the ignition and no one using the key fob or hitting the button inside. Randomly the door lock will work, but that is like maybe a few times of messing with it throughout the day at work. The other thing is the back hatch will not release to open the door as it is also electric. I tried opening it and maybe 3 of the 25 times it did not work. I can hear a slight buzz as I press down on the button with the back panel off the hatch to see inside. I'm not sure what exactly is going on. I would assume it wouldn't be a fuse because of the few random times throughout the day that it has worked. Just trying to get input to avoid taking to the dealer or to a shop and putting out money since the car isn't worth anything. Thanks.
