My Quetion:
Air Conditioning problem
1992 Pontiac Transport 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 149000 miles
The front ac blower is not working but the switches are on and fan indicator lights are on and indicating that everything is find. At the same time the rear AC is running just find and nice and cold. The fan has been jumpered and works fine. The relay been replaced along with the fuses. We also replaced the speed control relay for the fans speed that is located in the air box next to the fan. Is there any thing that I have missed that is in line some where. The Haynes does not have to much information on AC units in them.
Your answer was:
Can you pull the wiring harness from the blower motor assembly and check the voltage on the harness? I think you have circuitry problem.
Questions:
1. Do you have a wiring diagram on this unit in all your technical manuals you have?
2. What other components are in the system that would make this happen after the ones I mentioned in my note to you?
3. What volts and amps am I am looking for at the motor?
