Engine squealing noise

I have a brand new 2006 Pontiac GTO 6.0L, auto, with 1010 miles on it. I recently installed a K&N air charger system in it. After following the instructions provided with the K&N kit I took the car out for a test drive. I found that everytime I applied gas that the engine makes a squealing noise, much like a loose fan belt. This noise did not exsist prior to the installation. I have tightened all the brackets for the hoses, re-adjusted the angle of the tube, everything I could think of. The clearence for all the brackets, intake tube and wires for the sensor are fine, no rubbing any where. I even removed the system and re-installed it and I still get this annoying sqweel. Any advice?

You may have spilled some contaminate on the belt. KN filters are pre-oiled at the factory and some of the oil may have got on the belt.
I would take the belt off, clean the pulleys of with brake clean and install a new belt.
