2006 Pontiac Grand Prix axle replacement

I replaced my axel on the front passenger side and it keeps popping out of the transmission. I have tried 3 different new axles, thinking maybe I had gotten a faulty one. I don't know what else to try and the auto parts stores are of no help.

Check the end of the axle that goes into the trans, there should be a C clip on it, the aftermarket axels sometimes dont have one, or the axle is not snapped in all the way. Could also be the wrong axle. These are the only things that could make an axle pop out. Post back with what you find.

I can'tget the axle to go in at all. It does have the c clip on it, but it won't snap in. Is it possible to get the wrong axle 3 times from 2 different auto parts store?

Anything is possible, you might want to have them check to make sure its the wright axle. When you put the axle in tap the axle with a hammer until it snaps in, thats what I do.(Don't hit the axle to hard).
